If you’ve been waiting to taste an iOS 11 jailbreak version, it is now possible to jailbreak iOS 11 – 11.1.2 with LiberiOS Jailbreak. It’s true that you couldn’t experience a jailbreak tool since the public release of jailbreak iOS 10.2. But giving you the answer for that, the famous developer Jonathan Levin has now released the LiberiOS Jailbreak, so if you’re using any of 64-bit iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running on iOS 11 – 11.1.2, you’re allowed to jailbreak your device.
What is Jailbreak?
Jailbreak is the process of accessing the iOS system files by throwing away the manufacturer restrictions. Thereafter, you’re allowed to modify the core features of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. To add high performance to the jailbroken device you have to install Cydia and get the apps, tweaks, extensions, and themes which come bundled with Cydia. There are several jailbreak tools/versions available to assist you in jailbreaking your device. LiberiOS Jailbreak is one of them which was released so recently and the most stable version of the released iOS 11 jailbreak tools.
What is LiberiOS Jailbreak?
LiberiOS Jailbreak is the latest publicly available jailbreak tool for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users. This is a semi-untethered jailbreak tool which was released in December 2017. LiberiOS makes use of the same tfp0 exploit used by the security researcher Ian Beer last year on pwn iOS 11.0-11.1.2 devices which means iOS 11.2 and upper versions users have to wait some more days until they develop it up to iOS 11.2.x. Not only that, Jonathan has also given a jailbreak for Apple TV called LiberTV.
It released its first update this weekend improving it up to version 11.0.3. The version was based on a few bug fixes to the previous release. However, it is not mentioned which bugs have been fixed this update. LiberiOS Jailbreak and the version 11.0.3 both don’t install Cydia on the jailbroken device but, it supports code injection. The heartbreaking fact is, it might not support Cydia ever. Therefore, there is a possibility that you might not get a chance to get Cydia even after official update of Cydia iOS 11 by Saurik. If you want to get Cydia, you’ll need to wait until someone releases a proper jailbreak tool.
